Certify documents for AHPRA

There is a global trade for medical professionals around the world, which means that they are free to move wherever suits them and for their qualifications and skills to be easily recognised.

Doctors and nurses working in the NHS are overworked and not treated as well as they should be.  This leads them to consider their options internationally.  Most commonly, they move to Australia, New Zealand or Canada where the pay and treatment is better than in the NHS.  Plus, the weather is generally better…

If you are looking to move to Australia, then you will need to register with AHPRA before moving to Australia.  As part of this process, you will need to provide birth certificates, education certificates, letters from employers, passports and more.

Each of these documents will need to be notarised and then uploaded to AHPRA’s online portal.  Unlike most certified documents, AHPRA has strict guidelines which need to be followed in order to be accepted.  If they are not followed then they will be rejected which will delay the process.

It is important to find a notary that is aware of these requirements and has experience with dealing with the process.  I see doctors and nurses weekly to help them with their documentation for AHPRA and can assist you with the process too.

AHPRA's requirements are set out in the PDF below, which we follow to the letter to ensure that your documents are accepted without issue.

If you are looking to move to Australia, get in touch and I will help to you certify your documents.
